Working from home: from Santa's reindeer to machine learning
Ho-ho-ho...

working from home is not for everyone, but what about hybrid working?

WFH for all? haha, most of you think it’s impossible. BUT…

What if we don’t stick to WFH but we think first in a hybrid model?

Of course it might require a full redesign of the activities or major changes in the technology.

🦌I can imagine that the reindeer will work over the year to generate power stored in batteries and during Christmas eve they do a hybrid work: 2 reindeer per area and when they swap, the new squad brings the filled batteries (of course super duper efficient high tech ones). Might be a fair offer at the beginning, yeah? Ho-ho-ho…

⚙️It is indeed a reality to give 1-2 days a week for the engineering staff to work from home. How? Move from on-demand maintenance to planned maintenance, using data analysis and machine learning, remote performance monitoring. All the documentation, spare part management, monitoring and planning tasks can be done from home 😉
